چکیده
Abstract Pituitary carcinomas are rare malignant neoplasms and rarely result in a solitary spinal metastasis. In this report we describe case of pituitary carcinoma that metastasized to the canal nerve roots at numerous levels, mimicking neurofibromatosis spine. This patient is 72 year old right-handed female with past medical history adenoma which was resected 5 years prior stable on imaging. At presentation, seen for right sciatica, an MRI showed multiple enhancing intradural extramedullary lesions mainly lumbar spine, felt represent sheath tumors, neurofibromas. She underwent genetic testing, but NF1, NF2, SMARC1B, SPRED1, LTRZ1 were not found have mutation. Over 3 period, she had progression her tumors. The lesion remained appearance. resection pathology consistent carcinoma.Patient tolerated up almost 11 full cycles temozolomide before it put hold due significant deconditioning lethargy. Imaging revealed partial response cord metastases. unusual presentation metastatic delay diagnosis resulted morbidity.

BACKGROUND & AIM: Gynecological cancer is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide. Nonetheless, spinal metastasis from gynecological cancer is scarcely reported in the literature. In cases of spinal cord compression, the standard treatment is a decompressive surgery followed by radiotherapy treatment for selected patients. This study aimed to report the overall survival and surgical re...

We present a case of an aggressive non-radioiodine avid papillary thyroid cancer with recurrent pituitary metastases and a review of the literature. A 70-year-old woman with a history of papillary thyroid cancer and bony metastases present...
